Standish Cricket Club

Standish Cricket Club, located on Green Lane in Wigan, has a rich history spanning over a century, celebrating its centenary in 1977. Founded in the late 19th century, the club purchased its present ground in 1922 and has been a staple of local sport, featuring in the Wigan and District League and the West Lancashire League before joining the South West Lancashire Cricket Association in 1963.
